Problem faced :
Too much Exhaust temp and smoke in one unit.
Action taken :
1. Temperature gauge was first changed assumed as malfunctioning about the same problem existing.
2. The fuel pump of that unit spill v/v was adjusted to bring the temp down. If when this was done it was observed that the power balance of this unit as well as the other units, changing and the peak pressure getting affected.
3. Timing to be checked was the next plan of action. Work shop & Technical specialist for fuel pump were called and while checking timing they, found the suction v/v stem bent and broken.
4. Timing set for that unit after renewing the suction valve and stem, and also checked for all the other units. Problem was solved.
