Conference organised by the Directorate General of Shipping, India, commemorating 75 years of its establishment.
The theme — “Shikṣita Nāvikaḥ, Saśakta Saṁsthānam, Surakṣita Samudraḥ” (Educated Mariners, Empowered Institutions, Safe Seas) — set the perfect stage for meaningful conversations on shaping the future of our industry.
“India Navigating Through T³: Training, Transition, Transformation” was the central theme of the conference. Chief Guest Dr. Shankar Malini ,IAS (Vice Chancellor, Indian Maritime University (IMU), Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS (Director General of Shipping); and Mr. Sushil Mansing Khopde, IPS (Addl. DG) set the tone for the event with their inspiring vision and leadership.
The session was enriched by the perspectives of eminent panelists Dhruv Sawhney, Subramanian Mahesh, Capt. Gaurav Rana, and Rajnish Khandelwal, each bringing unique insights and experiences.
