HIMT College (Pre-Sea Campus)
Approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, and offering courses affiliated with the Indian Maritime University (IMU), HIMT College is a premier Pre-Sea residential campus dedicated to building strong foundations for maritime careers.
The campus offers a wide range of Pre-Sea programs, including B.Tech (Marine Engineering), B.Sc. Nautical Science, Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS), Graduate Marine Engineering (GME), Electro-Technical Officer (ETO), GP Rating, B.Tech Lateral Entry, and OCCP courses.
HIMT College features fully air-conditioned classrooms, modern workshops, and advanced laboratories, supported by separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Practical training is strengthened through ship-in-campus facilities, dedicated simulators, swimming pools for safety drills, and a well-equipped sports complex.

HIMT Kilpauk (Post-Sea Center)
Approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, HIMT Kilpauk is a dedicated Post-Sea Training Centre offering a comprehensive range of STCW-mandated and advanced modular courses. These include Basic STCW Courses, Advanced Modular Courses, Tanker Courses, Simulator Courses, and Refresher Programs.
Designed to support career progression for officers and ratings, the Kilpauk centre focuses on concept clarity, exam readiness, and practical application. Training is delivered by highly experienced faculty who provide structured guidance, industry-aligned instruction, and continuous mentoring—enabling seafarers to perform confidently both in examinations and onboard operations.

HIMT Tidal Park (Post-Sea Center)
A state-of-the-art Post-Sea Training Centre, HIMT Tidal Park is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, and is designed to meet the evolving training needs of modern seafarers. The centre delivers a comprehensive range of STCW courses, tanker training programs, simulator-based courses, and refresher modules for officers and ratings.
Equipped with advanced training technology and modern realistic simulators, the campus features a cutting-edge Full Mission Engine Room Simulator and a 270-degree Ship Handling Simulator, that enables realistic, immersive training for officers undergoing refresher courses and management-level competency development. The facility supports effective learning through scenario-based training aligned with current industry practices.
HIMT Tidal Park has also been awarded the prestigious EDGE Green Building Certification, reflecting HIMT’s commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmentally responsible infrastructure.

VIZAG HIMT (Post-Sea Center)
Approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, Vizag HIMT serves as a key Post-Sea training hub for seafarers across India’s east coast. The centre delivers DG Shipping–approved STCW courses, tanker courses, simulator training, and refresher courses.
Strategically located in the heart of Visakhapatnam, the campus offers easy accessibility for officers and ratings preparing for their course certifications and CoC examinations. With modern facilities and experienced faculty, Vizag HIMT ensures high-quality training in a convenient and professional learning environment.

HIMT Offshore (UK MCA Approved Training Center)
HIMT Offshore, an independent entity of the HIMT Group of Institutes, has become the first institute in South India to offer UK MCA–approved courses to the maritime industry. It is also the first maritime institute outside the United Kingdom to receive approval for Basic IGF and Advanced IGF courses, marking a significant milestone in international maritime education. HIMT Mock-up (Practicals)
HIMT’s Mock-Up Facility is a fully equipped, purpose-built practical training yard with a waterfront directly connected to the mouth of the sea, enabling realistic boat-handling and water-based training. The facility is fitted with lifeboat and liferaft davits, allowing seafarers to carry out hands-on drills in accordance with STCW requirements.
The centre also houses one of India’s largest firefighting mock-up facilities within a maritime institute, providing realistic firefighting training, rescue-operation setups, and exercises on fixed foam and dry chemical powder firefighting systems. These controlled yet realistic environments enable seafarers to develop critical emergency preparedness, effective teamwork, and strong practical competence, essential for safe shipboard operations.
