ELIGIBILITY

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION	AGE LIMIT	MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Mechanical Engineering Candidates: Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or its specialized streams (e.g., Mechanical and Automation, Mechanical and Electronics, Mechanical and Automobile). However, the word “Mechanical” should be first indicating Mechanical Engineering is the core and second subject is the elective. Academic Performance: Minimum 50% marks in the final year of the degree program. Minimum 50% marks in English in 10th/12th/Degree Examinations Naval Architecture Candidates: Qualification: BE or B.Tech in Naval Architecture or its specialized streams (e.g., Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building). However, the word “Naval Architecture” should be first indicating naval architecture is the core and second subject is the elective. Academic Performance: Minimum 50% marks in the final year of the degree program. Note: Must have completed 10th and 12th from a recognized board. The degree must be recognized by the government or AICTE. Note: A relaxation of 5% marks in English shall be granted to the candidates who are native of the Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar islands and belong to Scheduled Tribes and who and both of whose parents were born in those islands and belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. Notes

Once candidates pay the initial token amount of Rs. 10,000/- (part of the total course fee), candidates will be added to a WhatsApp Group for further process.
If a candidate attends the interview and/or online test but does not clear it, they will be entitled to a full refund of the token amount paid. However, if a candidate fails to attend the interview or online test, or chooses not to proceed after being shortlisted or selected by Eastaway , the full fee paid will be forfeited. Kindly review and adhere to these terms before proceeding with the application.
The Application Fee paid is non-refundable
As per D. G. Shipping Guidelines, passport is mandatory to join the course.
Caution Deposits are refundable at the end of the course after adjustments of laundry charges & damages, breakages etc., if any.
Fees paid is forfeited if withdrawn from the Course after the course commencement.
Admissions are subject to meeting the mandatory requirement of course and Eastaway decision regarding selection is final.
