Venture Ship Management, Wah Kwong Maritime Group & HIMT College are conducting a recruitment drive for Graduate Marine Engineers. Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed Mechanical Engineering and who are aspiring to become Future Marine Engineers onboard Wah Kwong Maritime Group vessels.

Mechanical Engineering Candidates: Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or its specialized streams (e.g., Mechanical and Automation, Mechanical and Electronics, Mechanical and Automobile). However, the word âMechanicalâ should be first indicating Mechanical Engineering is the core and second subject is the elective. Academic Performance: Minimum 50% marks in the final year of the degree program. Minimum 50% marks in English in 10th/12th/Degree Examinations Naval Architecture Candidates: Qualification: BE or B.Tech in Naval Architecture or its specialized streams (e.g., Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building). However, the word âNaval Architectureâ should be first indicating naval architecture is the core and second subject is the elective. Academic Performance: Minimum 50% marks in the final year of the degree program. Note: Must have completed 10th and 12th from a recognized board. Eye-Sight: Minimum Unaided Vision 6/12 Eye Health: No eye conditions, full eye movement, normal pupil response, good binocular vision. No Color blindness and Color vision tested with Ishihara Chart. Physical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit including eye sight and hearing as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000, as amended, and need to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by DGMA (DGS) Approved Doctor. Academic Performance:
⢠12th Std English : Above 65%
⢠12th Std PCM : Above 65%, If no 12th and done Diploma then Aggregate Above 60%
⢠Degree Aggregate > 60% (with all semester mark sheet)
⢠Age â Not More than 25 Years as of 1st Dec 2026
Must have completed 10th and 12th from a recognized board.
The degree must be recognized by the government or AICTE.
Note:Candidates awaiting their final semester results are also encouraged to apply for the course. The students would however need to produce the 8th Semester Marksheet and have an aggregate of above 60% prior to the course commencement.

Notes
- â â HIMT will do the initial screening and shortlist candidates.
- Candidates shortlisted by HIMT in the Interview stage must pay the Initial token amount (Refundable- Check policy below) within the stipulated deadline. Failure to pay within the deadline will result in the seat being offered to the next candidate on the waitlist.
- The final shortlisted candidates who complete all formalities will be sent for the Wah Kwong Maritime Group selection process. They will review the applicants and shortlist candidates further for their selection rounds (Online / Offline), as per the companyâs requirements.
- Candidates selected by Wah Kwong Maritime Group must complete all admission formalities, including document submission and fee payment, immediately within the specified deadlines
- We strongly advise all candidates to ensure their basic medical fitness beforehand, including Height, Weight, BMI, and Colour Vision requirements.
- The Application Fee paid is non-refundable
- As per DGMA (DGS) Guidelines, passport is mandatory to join the course.
- Caution Deposits are refundable at the end of the course after adjustments of laundry charges & damages, breakages etc., if any.
- Fees paid is forfeited if withdrawn from the Course after the course commencement, or after being selected by a company.
- The decision of HIMT and Wah Kwong Maritime Group shall be final and binding.
- â Admissions are subject to meeting the mandatory requirement of course and Wah Kwong Maritime Group decision regarding selection is final.
- â All fees can be paid online. We offer Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, and Debit Card. â Cash/Cheque payments are not entertained.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Token Amount Refund Policy for this Sponsorship Drive:
- Candidates who are not selected at either the HIMT stage or the Wah Kwong Maritime Group stage will receive a full refund of the initial token amount paid.
- If a candidate withdraws for any reason (including medical issues or non-attendance for interviews) after being lined up for the Wah Kwong Maritime Group selection process, or after being selected by them, the initial token amount will be forfeited.
