HIMT had the privilege of hosting Shri. Aniruddha Johari, Crewing Manager, Wallem Ship Management (India) Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest for the Epaulette Ceremony of the Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) 31st Batch on 7th & 8th October 2025.

This batch sets a new milestone in HIMT’s continuing industry collaborations, with 22 cadets- more than half the batch- proudly sponsored by Wallem Ship Management. This stands as both a testament to Wallem’s commitment to investing in future leaders through world-class training and to HIMT’s excellence in nurturing future-ready marine engineers.

🎓 The ceremony marked a defining moment for the cadets as they donned their epaulettes—symbolizing discipline, dedication, and the commencement of their professional journey at sea.

Key Words of Inspiration from Shri. Aniruddha Johari’s Speech:

“Life is never fair — what matters is how resilient you are.”

“Success belongs to those who show resilience when life throws challenges.”

“Resilience, discipline, and sincerity — these are the true success mantras.”

“Talent alone is not enough — without discipline and consistency, success is uncertain.”

“Life will eventually give you success. Johariient, take your time, and stay resilient.”

Shri. Johari was overwhelmed by HIMT’s state-of-the-art VR facilities and modern training infrastructure, which provide cadets with immersive and industry-relevant learning experiences. We also had the privilege of his visiting our Post Sea Center and were impressed by the advanced training facilities, which further reinforce HIMT’s commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Wallem Shipmanagement (India) Pvt. Ltd. for their unwavering partnership and trust, which continues to inspire us to set new benchmarks in maritime education and training.
