The delegation explored HIMT’s world-class infrastructure facilities and highly commended the institute’s efforts in shaping the future of maritime education and training.
They also interacted with the MOL-selected cadets, inspiring them with valuable guidance and motivating them to excel in their maritime careers.
Additionally, the delegation also visited our post-sea training center, where MOL-sponsored senior officers were undergoing the D.G.Shipping-Approved Basic Polar Waters (
Ice Navigation) Course.
They were impressed with HIMT’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the immersive VR-based simulators, double-bottom tank, life-size gangway, and other advanced training setups, reaffirming HIMT’s commitment to delivering practical, world-class maritime training.
